3.1 When you request or arrange care
- Your name, mobile number or WhatsApp number, and PIN code
- The service you select and the support details you choose to share with us
- Additional contact, address, health and care-plan information needed to arrange safe and suitable care
- Records of visits, care plans, feedback and communications with us
- Payment information processed by third-party payment providers
We explain why further information is needed before we collect it. Please share health information about another person only if you are authorised to do so.
3.2 When you apply as a nurse or caregiver
- The name, mobile or WhatsApp number, and PIN code submitted in your application
- If you proceed to verification: role, qualifications, professional registration number, experience, travel areas, availability and languages spoken
We separately request documents such as identity proof, address proof, qualification certificates and registration proof only if they are needed for verification, and will tell you what is needed and why before you upload anything.
3.3 When you visit our website
- Technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location from your IP address, pages visited and time spent
- Cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 9
4. How we use your information
We use personal data to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange care in your area
- Review applications, verify professionals and onboard them
- Operate, secure and improve our website and services
- Communicate about care requests, bookings, visits and support
- Meet legal, regulatory and safety obligations
- Handle complaints and resolve disputes
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use health information for advertising.
5. Consent and lawful use
We process your personal data based on your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our forms, and for certain legitimate uses permitted by law, such as responding to a request you made, complying with legal obligations and protecting safety. You can withdraw consent at any time as described in section 13. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing completed before you withdrew it.

Health information is highly personal. When we collect it, we will:
- Collect only what is needed to arrange safe and suitable care
- Share it only with the professionals and partners involved in that care
- Limit access within SafeTouch to people who need it
- Not use it for marketing
8. Children
Our website is intended for adults. If care is arranged for a child, or for a person who cannot give consent themselves, the request must come from a parent or lawful guardian. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children, and obtain verifiable parental or guardian consent where the law requires it.
9. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools to make the website work, understand how it is used and improve it. Where required, we ask for consent before using non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work without essential cookies.
10. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.
- Care requests and booking records: for the period needed to arrange care, provide support and meet legal or regulatory obligations
- Unsuccessful professional applications: 6 months
- Verified professional records and care records: for the period needed for safety, legal and regulatory purposes
- Website analytics: 14 to 50 months based on the event and level of the record
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
12. Transfers outside India
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. We transfer data only where permitted by Indian law and with appropriate safeguards.
13. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data
